What is SBCM?
South Bay Children’s Museum is an emerging children’s museum built around real world play. Our mini city environment invites young children to explore community spaces, take on meaningful roles, and learn through hands on, imagination rich experiences.
Building SBCM Together
Phase 1: Pop Up Play Experiences
We bring small scale versions of our mini city environments to community events so families can explore, give feedback, and help shape the future of SBCM.
Phase 2: Community Building and Funding
We partner with families, schools, and local organizations to build support, secure grants, and prepare for a permanent location.
Phase 3: Permanent Mini City Museum
Our long term goal is a full scale mini city museum where children can explore real world spaces designed just for them.
